- How does a Free Trial work?
The free trials offered by NetFlix and BlockBuster last for two weeks. After your free trial, you will be billed at the monthly subscription rate for the plan you have selected plus any applicable tax unless you cancel before the end of the free trial, which you can definitely do if you are not happy about the service you chose at first.
- How many DVDs can you rent during the Free Trial period?
The number of DVDs you can rent depends on a number of factors, including how quickly you watch and return each of your DVDs and which plan you have selected.
On the most popular plan, the 3-at-a-time plan, you can rent unlimited DVDs and exchange DVDs you've watched for new ones as often as you like. When your trial begins, you will receive three movies of your choice. You can exchange DVDs for new DVDs as often as you like, one at a time as you finish them.
- What about cancellation?
You can cancel at ANY TIME. You can easily cancel your membership, online, 24 hours a day. Presently, there are no cancellation fees. To avoid being charged after your trial, simply cancel your account before the trial ends.
- Free Shipping/Postage/No hidden fees
This is one of the greatest features of these services and why so many people sign up for it! You do not have to pay for shipping. When you sign up, you will start building your queue of movies. Depending on the plan you chose, 1, 2 or 3 DVDs will be mailed and they should arrive in your mailbox within 1 to 3 business days via U.S. mail.
When you finish watching a movie, you will simply put it in its prepaid envelope and mail it back to the DVD rental service. As soon as the distribution center has received it, they will send your next available movie(s).
- No Late Fees - No Return Dates
You will pay a monthly flat fee. When a movie is mailed to you, there is no limit in the number of days you can keep a movie, you can watch it all over again as many times as you want! And there since you can keep it as long as you wish, this also means that there is NO late fees. TIP: If you haven't watched a movie after having it for several days, return it unwatched to get a new movie. You can always rent it again.
